About Reyna

Have you ever hesitated to get help you really need because you weren’t sure you could communicate what exactly it was you needed?

I know what that’s like.

Though I was born in the United States, I grew up in Mexico with my parents. At age 9, my family moved back to the United States.

Suddenly we went from having what we needed and being able to get what we didn’t have to not having basic essentials and relying on other people to communicate for us.

Though we had many kind people who helped us, it was still difficult to do everything – talk to doctors, find items in the grocery store, figure out which stores sold items we needed, and so on.

After working hard to learn English in school, I was able to interpret for my mom which made many things easier.

Today, I do the same for others. I help people communicate their needs and worries to attorneys so they can get the legal help they need. I know what it’s like to worry about not being heard or understood, and my goal is to help others avoid that frustration.
